Update: our new classmates

P3C have been loving observing the growth of our 5 furry caterpillars as they transform into butterflies.

After a bit of touch and go, all 5 caterpillars have safely created their cocoons and we are eagerly awaiting the butterflies release! πŸ›πŸ¦‹

Our new classmates!

Say hello to our new classmates – 5 wriggly caterpillars!

In our official naming ceremony we decided to call them Fin, Oscar, Kevin, Fortnite and HRH Prince Harry.

We are really excited to watch them grow! πŸ›πŸ¦‹

Planting in P3C

P3C had a great time planting onions, peas, radish and mangetout yesterday as well as getting to water the potatoes that P2 planted. Although the weather tried to stop us we persevered in the rain and had a really fun time! πŸƒπŸ‘¨β€πŸŒΎπŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ

Trip to the National Galleries

Before the Easter holidays P3C thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the National Galleries! We had the opportunity to view a variety of landscape paintings, discuss what we liked or disliked about them, talked about the different artistic elements the artist had used and even had a go at creating our own versions! We felt like proper artists! πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ¨πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ¨

Art Day! 🎨

P3C loved their day dressed as artists! We used our knowledge of artistic elements to create a huge variety of artwork including puppets, watercolour pictures, portraits and even some flying bats!

Kindness in P3C

P3C did an anonymous kindness walkabout where we wrote words that described our friends on their individual speech bubbles.

Everyone received lots of positive words on their bubbles including kind, friendly, funny, smart, a good friend and many many others!

We’re filling buckets in P3C! β€οΈπŸ—‘β˜ΊοΈ

Emotion Talks in P3C

P3C have been exploring different emotions and discussing how our bodies and faces can look when we feel different things.

We then created emotion blobs to display our facial expressions when we are happy, sad, angry, jealous and surprised.
